The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, the Arab Monetary fund and the IFC, hosted an event on - Developing Credit Bureaus in the Arab World. Emcredit participated in the event and spoke on the credit reporting regulation in the UAE. Among the topics covered were existing regulations to credit reporting in the UAE, objectives and significance of the proposed federal law on credit information sharing as well as challenges and alternatives in the absence of the proposed federal law.
